Like right now, she's sitting in her bouncy seat taking a little nap. I figure I have about half an hour or so before she wakes up again hungry, which gives me a chance to catch up on Deviations, see what folks around here have been up to, and enter a quick journal entry... since I managed to get caught up on e-mails earlier. I've been scanning in photos, so that I can get those archived and cleared off of my desk and then get to the process of scanning in some more artwork.
There are workers outside hammering away at what will soon become my new art studio. In the mean time, I've been sharing office space with my husband since the room that WAS my art studio has been converted into a nursery for our little girl. It's going to be nice to have my own work space again... the lighting out there from all the large windows is going to be the best, and I'll be able to truly set it up as a studio. No sharing it as a guest room either, though I might put a futon or comfy chair out there to enjoy my morning coffee.
I haven't really managed to get to any artwork since Laurel was born back in August, though there are lots of ideas for projects, paintings, and illustrations rolling around in my head. I've been setting my priorities of making sure the house is cleaned up, dinner is on the table, and laundry is done over doing art work... and then there's all the rest of my time that's spent feeding, interacting, and taking care of my baby girl. But we're adjusting and getting into a routine now. Thus, why I have a moment to update here, in between scanning all these photos.
Hopefully as time goes on, I'll be able to update with some new art projects as well.
In the mean time, I don't know if I had updated all on the launch of my website, but if not here goes:

It's up, though may go over a few various changes in layout over the next several months. Anyway, thanks everyone for the favorites, for the watches, and for the continued support as I add "Mom" to my resume. Have a Happy Halloween everyone!
